Lewis Nishioka Stoddard

Lewis Nishioka Stoddard is an Idaho native who joined the firm as an associate in September 2008. He received a dual B.S. degree in Finance and Economics and a minor in International Business, cum laude, from Utah State University in 2001. Prior to law school Mr. Stoddard spent a year and a half working for one of the nation’s largest mortgage servicers doing loss mitigation in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, Mr. Stoddard also spent a year and a half working for one of the nation’s largest accounts payable auditing firms where he worked as a Data Analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah, and subsequently managed a Retail Data Analyst group in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Stoddard received his J.D. from the University of Idaho in 2007, where he was a member of the Bankruptcy Moot Court team. During law school, Mr. Stoddard was a legal extern for the General Counsel to the Governor of Idaho and worked as a summer law clerk in the Corporate Legal Department at Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation in Magna, Utah.

Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Stoddard served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Elgee, an Idaho Fifth District Judge chambered in Blaine County.

Mr. Stoddard is currently licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Idaho and the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association.
